Tis the season to be jolly! Did you see some crazy holiday sweaters on the staff?  This year, the Whitman staff competed to win Ms. Acker’s Ugly Sweater Contest.  There were many teachers involved and many prizes were awarded to the best teachers who scored highest in the following categories.

Honorable mention—For teachers who received a lot of votes in each category but not enough to win:

• The admirable Contender Award– Ms. Elmore
• The “I would be nowhere if it was not for my students Award”– Mr. Karavias
• Busted the Ballot Box Award– Mr. Conroy

The original category winners were:

• The Slacker Award (effort that needs improvement)– Mr. Miranda
• Best Jingle Bells (noisiest)- Ms. Bunce
• The So Ugly It Is Cute– Mr. Milazzo
• The Grand Slam Award (best use of accessories)– Mrs. Latko
• Hideously Ugly (best overall) and first prize– Mrs. Eastwood.

Everyone did so well and had awesome sweaters. Hey, maybe next year students can join too!  Congratulations to all who participated!
