Review: Tabletop Simulator Video Game
Exactly as the name suggests, Tabletop Simulator, released by Berserk Games on June 5, is a PC simulator for tabletop and board games. You don’t just have to play games; you can also design them for yourself and your friends or strangers to play by uploading it to the Steam workshop.
This game makes it extremely simple to play with friends who live far away. And by using Tabletop, you don’t even have to play with friends. Just join a random server with the game you want and play with strangers. There’s no difficulty in finding someone to play any game with as long as there is a server for it. Even when you can’t play on a public server, you can host a private, password-protected game where you can play in peace with just yourself and your friends. Another incredibly cool feature is the set modes you can use to browse the web and show your friends videos, websites, photos, etc.
I’ve got to say, this is one of those times when I agree with a lot of people on how great of a game it is. 94% of 2,689 user reviews enjoy Tabletop, according to the Steam website. I truly believe this game is one of the best I’ve played.
