Adele’s new hit song “Hello” has become more than any old sad break-up anthem for heartbroken women and men.  According to a study done by a popular online dating site, this song has inspired 64 percent women to contact their exes in an attempt to reconcile their relationships.

The same study found that women tend to make judgments off of feelings and emotion, “and the instant gratification of texting an ex may seem fulfilling in the moment” even if it isn’t the best choice.

Even though men may be inspired by the song, they are less inclined reopen the wounds of past breakups. According to the study, that only 17 percent of men felt the need to reach out to their exes after listening to “Hello.”

Adele’s influential video currently has more than 335 million views on  and 300,000 comments on Youtube. What are your views regarding the music video? Is it really possible for a song to convince a person to make a major decision?  Share your thoughts in the comments below.
