Even though the new year is sure to be packed full of amazing new shows, here are some of the best ones that have already finished.

  1. Parenthood

Parenthood is a show you can watch with the whole family. Following three generations of Bravermans, this show gives you six drama-filled seasons of realistic family problems.  

“I still love Parenthood,” says English teacher Ms. Baran, although the show has been off the air for a year this January. The show has been nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy.

      2. One Tree Hill

Talk to almost any teenage girl in Whitman and she will tell you about how in love she is with the Scott brothers. One Tree Hill is a teenage soap opera filled with drama. The main character, Lucas Scott, has just joined the basketball team with his not-so-friendly half-brother, Nathan. If you are looking for a show that will make you cry, then this is the one.

      3. Parks and Recreation

One of the funniest show to ever hit television, the 14-time Emmy-nominated Parks and Rec is an instant classic. Amy Poehler and her hilarious cast makes you laugh in every single episode with smart and silly jokes. The heart of the show is a driven Leslie Knope, working hard in the Parks department of Pawnee, Indiana.

All seven witty season will be streaming on Netflix this January.
